Special transport, also known as abnormal load or heavy haulage transport, involves moving cargo that exceeds standard road transport dimensions or weight limits. This includes loads wider than 2.55 metres, longer than 16.5 metres, higher than 4 metres, or heavier than 44 tonnes gross vehicle weight.
